The Coors Light/Maxim search party is making its debut in Hawaii on Friday, January 26th as it kicks off its first preliminary Coors Light/Maxim model search. Coors Light and Paradise Beverages has chosen veteran promoter, and partymaster Justin Yoshino along with 93.1 The Zone to coordinate and promote this six week long event. A total of sixty contestants will be chosen from the open audition and from there, they will be split in four groups and compete at four separate preliminaries. Three winners will be selected from each preliminary and will compete in the finals along with three winners that will be chosen on line at www.931thezone.net . The winner will win a wardrobe, $500 cash prize and be flown to Las Vegas to compete for the national title. All entrants in preliminaries and finalist will receive prizes provided by Partymasters, 93.1 The Zone and Coors Light. Total cash and prize giveaways are in excess of $5,000.
The Coors Light Maxim Girl is the sassy girl next door who is fun, lively, charismatic, witty, has an attitude, has an effortless sense of style and stage presence. She is social, active, flirtatious, but is loved because of her personality. She is a natural beauty, both internal and external. She is also a stylish dresser and trend-conscious without trying too hard.
To enter, contestants must attend the open audition and fill out an application. Contestants have to be female, at least 21 by Friday, January 26, 2007 and must present proof of age with a valid drivers license or state i.d. Contestants do not have to reside in Hawaii or pay an entrance fee.
We plan to have many interactive elements and lots and lots of eye candy that will make the party cool, says promoter Justin Yoshino. Look for snow bunnies on trampolines, the Silver Bullet spa with free chair massages, a tattoo shop, Silver Bullet go-go dancers, photo opportunities with the models, contestants and much more.
We are trying to bring a lot of new and exciting aspects to the club scene, but of course, the main attraction will be the women competing to be Miss Maxim Hawaii, added Yoshino.
Yoshino, a.k.a. the Partymaster, introduced the upscale party scene at top restaurants by being the first to host parties at the Hanohano Room, Chais Island Bistro, Sarentos top of the I and was the originator of the famed Feng Shui at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki. He has recently created the smooth party series that incorporates style, music, fashion and liquid libations with an exotic flair.
The other key partner of this promotion is the newly formatted 93.1 The Zone, who will be instrumental creating the buzz for the event with an interactive website that will allow listeners a chance to vote for their favorite contestant on line as well as win great prizes. The Zone is looking to make the Coors Light Maxim Girl Search an annual event and taking it to another level each year.
The other regional events are held being held in Portland, Denver, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, New York City, Boston, Tampa and Los Angeles. The winner of all these regional events along with the winner from Hawaii will compete in the nationals in Las Vegas at the Mirage. The winner of the national finals will receive a spread in the US Maxim. Maxim magazine is a lighthearted but authoritative leading men's magazine. Aside from pictorials, Maxim uses a balance of humor and information on subjects such as sports, sex, work, health, money and fashion.
